PRESS RELEASE: The Missner Group and First Industrial Realty Trust Break Ground on Industrial Building in Aurora

Joint-development partners, The Missner Group and First Industrial Realty Trust, are pleased to announce ground has broken on the 173,000 square foot industrial development at 1998 Melissa Lane in Aurora, Illinois.

The development, located on a 9.7-acre site on the far West Side of the Orchard Road Corridor, will be designed to accommodate up to three tenants.  The building will feature office to-suit, 32’ clear heights, 22 loading docks, drive-in doors and an ESFR fire safety system.  Additionally, the property will offer 174 parking spaces, a 12-trailer parking lot, and all new landscaping throughout the building’s exterior.

The Missner Group’s project manager, Kent Nepras, and senior project superintendent, Steve Bulger, will lead construction on behalf of the firm. Brian Kling and Reed Adler of Colliers International are the property’s brokers. Cornerstone Architects provided the architectural services.
