The Missner Group Leases 197,587 SF to Hearn Industrial Services at East Chicago, IN Industrial Location
Hearn Industrial Services, a third-party logistics provider serving Ford Motor Company’s automotive production needs, has already begun operations
Chicago, IL – August 27 2025 – The Missner Group is pleased to announce the lease of approximately 197,587 square feet of logistics space at 1200 W 145th Street in East Chicago, Indiana, a newly developed industrial building on a 14.6 acre site. The tenant, Hearn Industrial Services, a third-party logistics provider supporting Ford Motor Company’s South Side Chicago plant, will use the space for the storage and distribution of parts used in automotive manufacturing.

This transaction marks Hearn Industrial Services' first lease with The Missner Group and comes as the company expands its operations in the region. Located just minutes from I-90 and I-94, with direct access to major interstates, rail lines, and proximity to Chicago, the facility offers the logistical advantage required for high-volume, time-sensitive supply chains.

The Missner Group is serving as general contractor for the buildout, which includes customized office and warehouse configurations to support Hearn Industrial Services' operations.
The 249,600-square-foot facility was delivered as a speculative development and is now completely leased. This project represents the second fully leased building in The Missner Group’s three-building joint venture with Realterm. The first was 50 S Fairbank in Addison, IL, an 80,000+ square foot industrial asset. Only one asset in the joint venture still has space for lease, 1032 W 43rd St in Chicago, with just 27,061 square feet available.
