Emily Kuhn is a Project Manager at The Missner Group, currently leading her first three projects—and making it look way easier than it actually is. From day one, Emily has approached every project like a client herself, asking how she can make the experience smoother, more efficient, and maybe even a little less painful for everyone involved. Spoiler: she usually succeeds.

What really sets Emily apart is her “jump in anywhere” attitude. Projects in transition? She’s on it. Need someone to save the day mid-stream? She’s already there, coffee in hand, sleeves rolled up, figuring out how to make life easier for her teammates. Emily doesn’t just manage projects—she manages chaos, deadlines, and occasionally the occasional rogue subcontractor—all while keeping a smile on her face.

Her background in hands-on renovation and natural leadership make her a bridge between field teams and clients, and she does it all with honesty, humor, and just enough sarcasm to make meetings bearable. She’s the kind of person who will tell you exactly what’s going wrong, how to fix it, and maybe crack a joke while she’s at it.

Balancing fieldwork, office coordination, and single-mom life? Emily makes it look effortless, though we all know it’s a high-wire act worthy of a reality show. Her energy, loyalty, and quick wit make her a steady presence for clients and coworkers alike—someone people trust to get things done without drama.

Outside of work, Emily keeps her life interesting. She coaches her daughter’s 8U girls travel soccer team, kayaks like a pro, and is basically a human jukebox when it comes to music. Growing up touring with her dad, a professional drummer, she’s got rhythm in her blood—and sometimes in her project scheduling, too.
