The Missner Group Breaks Ground in Chicago Stockyards

Joint-development partners, The Missner Group and Realterm, are pleased to announce that ground has broken on the ±130,354 SF industrial development at 1032 W. 43rd St. in the Chicago Stockyards.   

The property will feature 32’ clear heights, 26 dock positions, 20 trailer stalls, 2 drive-in doors, and parking for 276 cars. The property enjoys access to a wide labor pool, excellent access to I-55, I-94 & Downtown Chicago, and is in Enterprise Zone 2, offering sales tax exemptions and utility tax exemptions.

The Missner Group’s project managers Bob Papineau & Don Hay, and senior project superintendent, Larry Whybrew, will lead construction on behalf of the firm. Larry Goldwasser, Colin Green, and Michelle Maguire of CBRE are the property’s brokers, and have pre-leased 51,759 SF at the time of writing. Cornerstone Architects provided architectural services.
