The Missner Group to Begin Construction on Rosebud's First Indiana Location

The Missner Group is pleased to announce that the firm’s Senior Vice President of Business Development, Aldo Bottalla has recently secured a project at 9601 Calumet Avenue in Munster, Indiana for Rosebud Steakhouse out of Chicago, Illinois. The Missner Group was selected as contractor for the build-out of the new, upscale restaurant.

A Chicagoland staple, Rosebud opened in 1976. The venue is known for its elegant, white-tablecloth fine dining and excellent quality food,” The Missner Group has the expertise to construct a beautiful space, sure to be a success in the northwest Indiana market,” said Bottalla

The Missner Group began construction on the space this month. The project includes the demolition and reconstruction of the former El Salto restaurant and will feature ample dining space, a bar lounge area, a private dining room, and a state-of-the-art kitchen. The restaurant will include luxury finishes and high-end lighting throughout.

“When Aldo brought this project to our firm, we knew that we could draw from our extensive experience in commercial construction and high-end spaces to carry-out Rosebud’s vision,” said Bob Nomellini, COO of Construction operations at The Missner Group. “It’s a fun and exciting concept for Munster and one that is sure to be a success. We’re pleased to be a part of the project and look forward to working closely with Rosebud Restaurants.”

The construction team for The Missner Group will be led by Anthony Burdi, serving as the project manager, and Angelo Christopher, serving as General Superintendent. Robin Associates Architects, Inc is providing architectural services. Rosebud Steakhouse will offer an upscale Italian menu in a communal and neighborly setting in the heart of Munster’s community. The grand opening is slated for this summer.
