The Missner Group Announces Long Term Lease Agreement with The Malnati Organization For Its National Headquarters in Buffalo Grove, IL

The Missner Group is pleased to announce they have completed a long-term lease agreement with the Malnati Organization for their new national headquarters located at 900-950 Busch Parkway in Buffalo Grove, Illinois.

The Malnati Organization, currently headquartered in Northbrook, will be relocating and leasing the entire 123,000 square foot Missner-owned property. With a unique combination of existing infrastructure for manufacturing and office space, along with abundant parking to accommodate all employees, the new site will serve as the company’s new home office, national e-commerce USDA manufacturing plant, and fulfillment center.

The Malnati family has become famous for their original recipe, and top-notch quality and hospitality since opening in 1971.  The business is headed by Marc Malnati, owner, as he continues to cast a vision for company growth.  “We’re excited to finally unite our entire organization and integrate the Lou Malnati’s and Tastes of Chicago brands in one multi-use space,” said Marc Malnati.  “We’re committed to providing jobs at our home office, warehouse, and stores while supporting the local communities we serve.  We feel fortunate to be expanding during these unprecedented times and look forward to connecting, collaborating, and growing in our new home in Buffalo Grove,” Malnati added.

The Malnati Organization, along with Missner, will be making significant investments in the property to meet the current and long-term needs and requirements of the Malnati Organization. Improvements will include new corporate offices, food production capabilities, and expansive freezer and cooler spaces. Efficiencies in warehousing, including expanded docking for increased shipping and receiving capabilities, will also be constructed at the property.

Cushman & Wakefield Executive Directors Brett Kroner and Keith Puritz and Managing Director Eric Fischer represented locally based Missner in this significant transaction while Colliers International’s  Ned Franke and Pat Hake represented the tenant.

The Malnati Organization will make the move in spring 2022 following an extensive buildout.
