Barry Missner,

CEO

As Chief Executive Officer of The Missner Group, Barry Missner is an experienced developer, entrepreneur and leader, with nearly 25 years of experience in commercial real estate. Mr. Missner has personally facilitated numerous joint-venture partnerships resulting in many successful developments, including an NAIOP Award for Industrial Redevelopment of the Year. He has also led the development and acquisition of more than $300 million worth of real estate and continues to significantly grow The Missner Group’s property investment portfolio on behalf of the firm’s private investors.

Mr. Missner earned his Bachelor of Science in Regional Development from the University of Arizona, then attended Loyola University Chicago’s Quinlan School of Business. He is a candidate for the Certified Commercial Investment Member designation given by the Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute which recognizes experts in the commercial and investment real estate industry.

Glen Missner, President

Glen Missner is the President of The Missner Group, with nearly 30 years of experience, he is responsible for business development, operations, strategic decision making and serving as a mentor to the firm’s entire team. He is also personally involved in the development of new projects from conceptual planning and budgeting through project completion. He draws from his strong network of resources and varied experience to provide clients with a high-quality experience, and is dedicated to the firm’s core principles, placing a high-level of value on personal involvement and accountability. Glen has personally participated in more than $600 million worth of construction and development projects throughout the Chicagoland area.

Mr. Missner is active within the commercial real estate industry, and is a member of both the Association of Industrial Real Estate Brokers and the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties. He is also a member of the U.S. Green Building Council, which promotes sustainable building practices. In addition to his professional achievements, Mr. Missner is also actively involved in numerous civic organizations and charities including the Ronald McDonald House, Imerman Angels, Friends of Jaclyn, The American Diabetes Association and the Make A Wish Foundation., to name a few. Outside of work Glen loves to travel, is an outdoor enthusiast, an avid wine collector, a Chicago Blackhawks fan and Arizona Wildcats enthusiast, where he received a Bachelor of Science in economics.
