The Missner Group was the general contractor for the 125,000 square foot Dunkin’ Donuts Midwest Distribution Center located in Mokena, Illinois at 9000 W. 192nd Street.
Situated within the Corporate Corridors Business Park, the facility features state-of-the-art distribution capabilities that enables Dunkin’ Donuts to distribute products totaling more than $50 million annually throughout 13 Midwestern states to over 300 Dunkin’ Donuts retail outlets.
With 99,000 square feet of warehouse/distribution space, including 16 dock locations and 24’ clear ceiling heights, the distribution facility is key to helping Dunkin’ Donuts retain its position as the world’s largest coffee and baked goods chain, serving more than three million customers per day.
In addition, the facility also serves the distribution needs of Baskin Robbins, another company owned by Dunkin Donuts. To accommodate the frozen goods manufacturer’s unique needs, the building was designed with cooler, freezer and cold staging loading areas.
The facility features 7,200 square feet of office space, 18,000 square feet of freezer and cooler space and 3,000 square feet of cold dock space.
