The IREM® Certified Sustainable Property (CSP) certification is an attainable, affordable, and meaningful recognition program for existing office properties, multifamily communities, and shopping centers. The certification allows property managers to gain recognition for properties not covered by other programs, extend sustainability across their portfolio, or start a sustainability initiative from scratch.
IREM certifies office properties, multifamily communities, and shopping centers – and relies on an advisory board made up of IREM member volunteers to run the program. This advisory board has named Angela Aeschliman, CPM®, CCIM, Senior Vice President of Property and Asset Management at The Missner Group, LLC, Des Plaines, IL, as Chair for 2018.
Aeschliman will be responsible for helping the Sustainability Advisory Board achieve the following 2018 goals:
Identify strategies for increasing IREM® Certified Sustainable Property (CSP) certifications
Review and advise on IREM® CSP applications, requirements, and submission processes.
Review and identify potential sustainability-related topics for knowledge products
