The Missner Group is pleased to welcome several new tenants to the firm’s industrial/distribution redevelopment, Howard Industrial Center in Niles, Illinois. Trevian Soccer Club has leased 30,640 square feet of space for training and practice. The Missner Group will complete a build-out featuring 20,000 square feet of indoor soccer fields, 400 square feet of office space, a new equipment storage area, and restroom facilities. Twin Med, LLC, the largest regional full line medical supplies distributor to nursing homes throughout the West Coast, has leased 29,796 square feet. The Missner Group also completed a build-out for the firm featuring state-of-the-art warehouse space, 2,000 square feet of new executive offices, and a new break room. Signing a 20,000 square foot lease, Energy Volleyball Club is a girls and boys volleyball organization that participates in tournaments and national qualifiers. The Missner Group has built-out the space to accommodate four volleyball courts, a viewing area and concessions.
	The Missner Group is pleased to announce that the firm’s Principal and CEO, Barry Missner has been appointed to the Private Developers Forum II of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) National Forums. The Forum provides a platform to develop relationships with commercial real estate colleagues while exchanging ideas and sharing interests on topical issues. NAIOP’s National Forums are exclusively for senior-level NAIOP members with at least 10 years of experience. NAIOP is the nation’s leading trade association for developers, owners, investors and asset managers in industrial, office and related commercial real estate.
The Missner Group is pleased to announce that James M. Boge has joined the firm as project engineer. In his new capacity, Boge will be directly responsible for preparing estimates and proposals; purchasing trades; drafting and negotiating trade contracts; coordinating field activities and shop drawings; and managing design related issues. He brings five years of construction experience to the team.
The Missner Group is pleased to announce that leasing opportunities are available at the 78,000 square foot, office building in Lisle - Corporate Lakes I. Industrial opportunities are also available at the state-of-the-art Howard Industrial Center.
	The Missner Group is pleased to announce that the firm has teamed with AMB Property Corporation to develop a 253,262 square foot warehouse build-to-suit for Coaster Company of America in Des Plaines, Illinois. The largest O’Hare Market deal to-date this year, Coaster’s new facility will be located at 255 Wille Road. view project
	Last year Fibre-Craft leased 170,000 square feet within the Howard Industrial Center including approximately 135,000 square feet of warehouse and distribution space, and a 35,000 square foot office/showroom area. The Missner Group is pleased to announce the completion of the dramatic, custom build-out. Features include a luxurious reception area with granite flooring, a made-to-order wood desk with granite counters, and backlit picture boxes to artistically display the firm’s products. The Missner Group also constructed eight high-tech conference rooms with plasma screens and the latest AV and video conferencing equipment. 	The Missner Group is pleased to announce that the firm has completed the new 126,053 square foot build-to-suit distribution center for Forward Air in Des Plaines, Illinois. Located at 250 Wille Road, the new facility for Forward Air is a development of AMB Property Corporation. The new facility features an 11,000 square foot, two-story office space, 24’ clear ceiling heights, 107 docks and three drive-in doors. view project
9400 King Street	The Missner Group is pleased to announce two recent acquisitions, the acquisition of 9400 King Street, located between Des Plaines River Road and 25th Avenue in Franklin Park, Illinois; and the acquisition of 105 Revere Drive in Northbrook, Illinois. The 58,000 square foot, single-user industrial property in Franklin Park was acquired for $1,950,000. The 17,500 square foot office property in Northbrook was acquired for $1,875,000. view project
	The Missner Group is pleased to announce the grand opening of the Association for Individual Development. The new 40,000 square foot office/warehouse and training facility was a build-to-suit project funded by a grant from the Federal government. Congressman Dennis Hastert was instrumental in helping to solidify the grant from the Department of Health & Human Services which funded the project. view project
	The Missner Group is pleased to announce the recent sale of 3200 Arnold Lane in Northbrook, Illinois led by the firm’s Barry Missner and Edward M. Adler. The sale was valued at approximately $3,400,000.The 84,600 square foot industrial property, purchased by Granite America, was acquired in 2006. The Missner Group completed extensive renovations to the entire property which was qualified for a 6B tax reduction.
	The Missner Group is pleased to announce the recent sale of 1501 Tonne Road in Elk Grove Village, Illinois, led by the firm’s Barry Missner and Edward M. Adler. The sale was valued at $2.1 million. Purchased by The Shapes Company, the 32,641 square foot distribution/warehouse building was formerly occupied by C.R. Laurence Co., Inc. and was purchased by The Missner Group last year.
	The Missner Group has also completed the sale of Building Materials Manufacturing Corporation in Michigan City, Indiana. The sale was valued at $2 million. The 186,574 square foot distribution/warehouse facility is located at 923 W. US 20.
